Job Summary:
NewLane Finance is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst who will perform a wide variety of data gathering and analytics driven roles. This person will also use data analytics and reporting to help deepen management’s insights towards strengthening overall credit, account servicing and pricing analytics.
Essential Functions:
- Data Collection and Cleaning: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability for analysis.
- Analysis and Interpretation: Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. Interpret findings to provide meaningful insights to support business objectives.
- Report Generation: Develop and generate regular reports for various departments, summarizing key metrics and highlighting areas for improvement.
- Database Management: Assist in maintaining and updating databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for analysis.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and tailor analytical approaches to address specific challenges.
- Tools and Technologies: Utilize data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Tableau, AI, Excel) to extract, transform, and analyze data effectively.
- Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot data-related issues, proposing effective solutions to enhance data quality and reliability.
- Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis to enhance skills and contribute to team growth.
Qualifications:
- Studying and working toward a degree in Business Analytics or Information Systems
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal/team skills
- Good oral & written communication skills
- Well organized and detail-oriented

Salary Range:
$62,918.00 - $103,365.50Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
