The Sr. Financial Analyst supports financial planning, analysis, and performance reporting for the Consumer Banking division. This role partners closely with Consumer Banking Finance leadership and business stakeholders across the business to deliver accurate, timely insights that support decision-making, performance management, and strategic initiatives. The position offers strong visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and meaningful exposure to senior leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial performance packages, including Profit & Loss and balance sheet results for Consumer Banking.
  • Analyze variances versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key drivers and trends.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of management reporting and dashboards to improve visibility into business performance.
  • Prepare financial summaries, commentary, and presentations for Consumer Banking leadership and senior management reviews.
  • Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes across business units.
  • Maintain and update financial models that incorporate key business drivers, volume assumptions, and pricing impacts.
  • Assist business partners with planning inputs and scenario analysis to evaluate potential business outcomes.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support product, line of business, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate business cases, initiatives, and investment opportunities.
  • Conduct peer or trend-based analysis to provide internal and external performance context.
  • Leverage Excel and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI or similar) to deliver actionable insights.
  • Assist in improving financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency through automation and standardization.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and analyses.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or financial reporting, preferably within banking, financial services, or a related industry.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerPoint required.
  • Experience with business intelligence or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights and recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both finance and business partners.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture perspective.

Salary Range:

$77,390.00 - $127,139.75

Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
