As a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Business Partner, you will assist in the design and coordination of DEI programs and learning experiences to build capability and support the maturity of strategic projects that foster a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists resource group leaders, the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Council (“DISC”) and its subcommittees in their facilitation of inclusion-related activities including regular meeting planning and assistance with organizing internal and external events.
  • Maintaining and improving the database of firm diversity information and providing analytical reports and statistics regarding demographic information, as needed.
  • Remain informed of trends in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space, and sharing relevant information as appropriate.
  • Assist with the preparation and responses to DEI surveys.
  • Collaborate with communication team to support and drive the DEI strategy through various internal and external campaigns.
  • Pursue and identify new trends related to program/initiative management, building DEI capability, and assessing gaps/opportunities, i.e., learning experiences, DEI resource group programming and DEI Council effectiveness to promote ongoing maturity.
  • Support DEI projects as assigned.
  • Monitor the progress of enterprise DEI commitments to help ensure they are proceeding in the planned strategic direction.
  • Promote diversity awareness in departments as a champion/expert resource for each line of business.    

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project coordination, project management, or other relevant experience directly supporting a diversity, equity, and inclusion program or related projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proven dispute resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ownership drive, proactive and deadline driven.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Approachable and demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate and collaborate effectively across all functions and levels.
  • Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and abilities in conducting research and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to travel within the WSFS Bank footprint in the Greater Philadelphia region.
