NewLane Finance is seeking an Equipment Finance Sales Assistant to support our Business Development Sales Officer (BDSO) by Identifying potential new vendor partners, assisting with deal structuring, and managing early‑stage customer relationships. The associate works closely with our BDSO, credit teams, and operations to help new and existing vendors obtain financing for essential equipment.

Essential Functions
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities via outbound calls, emails, referrals, and CRM leads
- Assist BDSO in managing equipment finance transactions
- Gather and review customer financial information and documentation to support credit submissions
- Communicate with customers throughout the sales and funding process to ensure a smooth experience
- Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity, deal status, and customer communications in CRM systems
- Deep understanding of key vendor finance programs at a level where the candidate can communicate with vendor leadership and individual salespeople and their customers
- Knowledge of our subsidy percents for the subsidized deals
- Ability to provide state sales tax information and percentages and which states charge sales tax for medical equipment
- Understanding of quote tools and ability to update formulas as rates/rate factors change
- Relationship development and communication with key vendors and their individual contributors
- Clear and consistent communication with BDSO
- Basic knowledge of our vendor’s products and technology
- Ability to answer questions from vendors accurately.
- Ability to de-escalate situations when they arise confidently and successfully.
- Deep understanding of company policies and workflow, example to whom do I send a purchase order, application entry, funding confirmation, etc.…
- Knowledge of business software- Salesforce, DocuSign, Power Point,
- Phone and written communication skills- for example, welcome calls, internal and external email and teams communications
General
- Strong communication skills with a confident phone presence
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through
- Coachable mindset with a desire to learn financial products and sales techniques
- Competitive, goal‑oriented attitude with strong work ethic
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); CRM experience a plus
Qualifications
- Interest in equipment finance, commercial lending, or B2B financial services
- Ability to build rapport quickly with business owners and decision makers
- Strong work ethic
- Professional phone, email, text communications
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment
- Basic financial literacy (income statements, balance sheets) is a plus
Salary Range:
$53,744.00 - $88,290.50Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
