The Corporate Trust Middle Office Group Manager for WSFS Bank's Institutional Services Division will be responsible for the day- to- day processing of our electronic and physical Custody Services. This will include but not limited to managing our physical and securities custodian business. In addition, the incumbent will manage a team of Corporate Trust Custody associates, provide leadership, training, and guidance to Corporate Trust Associates, and provide subject matter expertise on all physical and electronic custody services of documents for mortgages, auto loans, credit card, and receivables.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and approve account set ups completed by other Associates.
- Responsible for managing the complete closing of new transactions by reviewing and negotiating governing documents; closing coordination activities; discussing open issues with counsel and client; actively eliciting information to comprehend customer needs.
- Complete physical document check-in process and review for custodial certifications.
- Complete trading activity of DVP, DTC, and Fed settlements for client securities custodian accounts.
- Ensure client satisfaction leading to retention and referrals by resolving any account issues and providing prompt response to inquiries.
- Be sensitive and responsive to both internal and external clients; collaborate and influence clients and centers of influence.
- Contribute to the short term and long-term strategies to assist in meeting certain revenue and expense goals.
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures. Adhere to the internal risk and regulatory requirements.
- Handle multiple deadlines and take part in projects when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 4 years demonstrated successful track record in Corporate Trust or equivalent field related to custody services.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite is required. Technical knowledge of running metrics utilizing MS Office Suite applications for tracking and monitoring of work production is preferred.
- Must be proficient with numbers and basic accounting.
- Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Must have strong attention to detail with the ability to organize workflow.
- Must possess the ability to work independently with minimum supervision and exercise good judgement.
- Must be able to read, interpret and execute complex payment strategies with Corporate Trust transactions.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with managers, clients, customers and the public clearly and concisely.
Salary Range:
$62,918.00 - $103,365.50Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
