The Sales Enablement & Learning Director has overall responsibility for sales strategy, program development, execution, and development of an enhanced learning curriculum for the Consumer Banking division. This includes implementing a variety of learning programs focused on associate development, advancement, and meeting business objectives. The incumbent will be tasked with managing the Learning and Development and Sales Enablement departments, as well as the associated operating budgets. In addition, this individual will be accountable for the execution and effectiveness of Change Management and Communications across the Consumer Division.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for Consumer Banking learning initiatives that aligns with Consumer Banking business objectives and priorities. Primary areas of focus will include onboarding for new employees, deepening capabilities of existing employees, continuous learning and development, and sales development programming.
- Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of an enhanced learning curriculum that supports associate development and organizational growth.
- Acts as a strategic learning partner and collaborates with Consumer Banking senior leadership on educational needs.
- Lead a team responsible for delivering learning and development initiatives.
- Create a clear vision for the team and align their efforts with broader organizational goals.
- Lead Consumer Learning and Sales Enablement Team in benchmarking and best practice efforts, maximizing resource effectiveness, as well as ensuring continuous process improvement for all learning programs.
- Reinforce cultural values and align all programs with our strategic focus areas of Talent, Growth, and Impact.
- Performs comprehensive needs analysis to more effectively develop programs that will enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of all WSFS Associates and drive business results.
- Oversees the design and development of curricula, courses, materials, data sets, and service to support business operations and procedure-based learning requirements using appropriate and diverse learning technologies. In addition, directs and manages a team of learning professionals.
- Develops appropriate metrics to report regarding the learning outcomes, the ROI of learning initiatives, etc.
- Owns and manages a separate budget for which the role has direct responsibility for.
- Oversee, develop, maintain, and enhance programs and initiatives aligned with sales strategy and divisional objectives.
- Explore potential new programs and solutions that would support our line of business growth strategy.
- Support division in achievement of established annual referral goals.
- Partner with Marketing and divisional leaders to provide tools, resources and information that accelerate business growth.
- Develop a deeper understanding of industry trends, the competitive environment, and our existing client base and explore new market opportunities aligned with our strategic objectives.
- Maintain and enhance sales enablement tools designed to accelerate profitable growth and cross-sell including, SalesForce and other platform effectiveness, marketing related tools, collateral and education.
- Assist team members in the development and maintenance of targeted prospects based on research, data, segmentation and other analysis of the business and industry trends
- Collaborate as needed on the development of established group and individual performance goals and incentive plan criteria that drive behaviors to positively impact performance.
- Strategize, implement, and maintain communication initiatives that adhere to our mission, vision, values, and strategy.
- Develop, maintain, and innovate recurring communication strategy.
- Manage and execute change management across the division ensuring adherence to best practices and, effectively managing capacity and impact across the division.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years relevant work experience and 5 years management experience required
- 5+ years working in Banking or Financial Services
- Experience in curriculum development and sales program development and implementation
- Proficiency with instructional design and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Must be data driven to showcase ROI on learning programs.
- Effective prioritization, clear accountability, and the ability to make decisions within tight timeframes across multiple high priority projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt, lead, and motivate teams and drive results.
- Proven leadership ability to successfully manage through ambiguity and rapid changes.
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Power Point, Forms, Sway, and Excel.
Salary Range:
$108,722.00 - $178,616.75Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
