The Flood Servicing Analyst is responsible for maintaining and monitoring flood insurance over the life of the loan for all personal and business property securing a Commercial, Small Business, SBA, Consumer, or Residential Mortgage loan. The incumbent will maintain the internal monitoring program until the loan transitions to the Banks external monitoring vendor. In addition, the incumbent will partner with the Bank’s external flood monitoring vendor to meet all regulatory requirements under FEMA, Flood Disaster Protection Act (FDPA), and the Bank’s FDPA Policy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reviews the insurance policies that are renewed, cancelled, or amended to ensure flood insurance is accurately tracked by the Bank’s external flood tracking vendor over the life of the loan.
- Reviews all flood map changes, maintains core data, and confirms the change with the Bank’s external flood tracking vendor for compliance with the FDPA.
- Assesses all borrower flood force placement insurance fees and pays the Bank’s external flood tracking vendor for all force placed flood policies.
- Reviews the Bank’s external flood insurance tracking vendor reports and provides prompt remediation to issues cited.
- Creates and maintains accurate flood insurance tracking records for loans secured by real and business personal property in a Special Flood Hazard Area (SPFA).
- Provides stellar internal and external customer service to WSFS Associates within the Commercial, Small Business, SBA, Consumer, and Residential Mortgage lines of business, as well as external customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least 1 year of related Loan Operations/Servicing experience.
- Must have an in-depth regulatory knowledge, including but not limited to, Flood Disaster Protection Act, FEMA Requirements, RESPA, Reg Z, NFIP, etc.
- Must have superior oral and written communication skills as well as, strong listening skills.
- Must have Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills to support service level agreements.
- Must have exceptional problem-solving and technical skills for error resolution and change implementation.
- Must have excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
