The Production Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring that multiple banking applications are functioning as expected and effectively resolves simple to complex application support incidents and questions. The incumbent will serve as an essential liaison between business and technical partners, translating business needs, challenges and opportunities into technical solutions and/or requirements. In addition, the Production Support Analyst serves as a subject matter expert of core systems, business applications and workflows for Associates throughout the bank.

Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in system implementations and enhancements to contribute to the success of strategic and operational initiatives through analysis, configuration, testing and system administration, and technical documentation.
- Provide ongoing application support for internal banking systems including application problem resolution, access management, report development and application change.
- Troubleshoot banking application issues, work with end users and/or service providers to determine the scope of the problem and collect all relevant details to identify potential solutions.
- Make recommendations for workarounds and/or escalate issues accordingly.
- Partner with business and technical representatives to complete implementation of business application releases/upgrades for supported applications.
- Document business line requirements and translate into proper system requirement specifications. Participate in projects such as banking application implementations, upgrades, enhancements, completing deliverables and ensuring bank guidelines are met.
- Assist in end-user training, unit testing and development of associated documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement by identifying inefficiencies, designing, and building solutions, and testing those solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field is preferred.
- Must have 5+ years of experience as an Application Support or Production Support Analyst in a high-volume, deadline dependent, production support environment in the banking or financial services industry.
- Must have knowledge of core banking systems and integrated business applications.
- Experience with FIS systems is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated experience in high-volume, deadline-dependent, production support environment is required.
- Experience with traditional client server and web-based application support is preferred.
- Experience related to bank financial and delivery application support is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with reporting systems and data structures including report writing experience.
- Experience with Business Objects or related tool is preferred.
- Must have the ability to translate business line requests into technical requirements is critical as well as making technical processes understandable for the business lines.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends based on planned deployments or upgrades as well as to resolve issues.
- Must have extensive knowledge of banking systems that support customer, deposit, loan and other applications.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements related to banking systems is preferred.
- Must have proven technical problem solving and analytical skills.
- Must have theoretical and practical knowledge relevant to the technology that supports banking business systems.
- Must have strong skills using Microsoft software products, experience with reporting and query tools.
- Must have experience using ticketing systems to document problems, requests, and changes for supported systems.
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently is important.
Salary Range:
$62,918.00 - $103,365.50Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
