WSFS Bank is currently seeking a Loan Specialist for the Commercial Loan Specialist Group.  The Commercial Loan Specialist II will be responsible for supporting the Commercial division in various areas including insurance, escrows, and administration of SBA loans. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the coordination of internal and outsourced insurance processes for commercial, small business, and SBA loans—ensuring accurate tracking, timely issuance of forced placement insurance, and flood insurance checklist preparation.
• Apply your expertise in SBA loan payment processing and government reporting guidelines to manage remittance of funds across diverse scenarios.
• Support the maintenance of Escrow Disbursement and Analysis for Commercial Borrowers, ensuring timely tax and hazard insurance payments.
• Facilitate accurate transaction postings by preparing pooled loan payments and payoffs in collaboration with CLS teams.
• Deliver exceptional service by resolving internal and external customer requests via phone, email, and mail—promptly and thoroughly.
• Ensure due diligence is completed, organizational documents are obtained, and daily transaction reconciliations are executed with precision.
• Conduct research and escalate issues proactively to maintain operational excellence.
• Contribute to special projects and other duties that support team and organizational goals.

 Minimum Qualifications:

• College degree or equivalent experience in commercial banking.
• 2+ years of experience in a Commercial Loan or Loan Operations environment.
• Solid understanding of compliance, insurance, and escrow functions related to commercial loans.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial loan processes.
• Proven ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically with internal and external stakeholders.
• Skilled in researching and resolving issues efficiently.
• Capable of making informed decisions and recommendations within your authority.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze processes and recommend improvements for greater efficiency.
• Experience with Excel and nCino preferred.

Salary Range:

Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
