The Power Platform Administrator is responsible for the administration, governance, support, and optimization of Microsoft’s Power Platform suite including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Microsoft Power Platform environments (Dev, Test, Prod).
  • Monitor platform health and performance using the Power Platform Admin Center.
  • Administer security roles, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and environment configurations.
  • Implement and enforce Power Platform governance policies and best practices.
  • Work with compliance and risk teams to ensure data integrity, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain audit logs, app lifecycle management (ALM), and documentation for all Power Platform activities.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all Power Platform tools and capabilities.
  • Support citizen developers by managing CoE Starter Kit tools, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide tier 2/3 support for platform-related issues and escalation paths.
  • Ensure seamless integration with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Dataverse, Azure, and external systems.
  • Optimize data connectors, gateways, and APIs for automation and dataflow solutions.
  • Keep up to date with Microsoft Power Platform releases and roadmap changes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and innovation across the organization.
  • Partner with solution architects and business units to ensure scalable design and growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Power Platform administration.
  • Must be proficient in managing Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Must have familiarity with Dataverse, Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center, and Azure AD.
  • Must be Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Administrator Associate (PL-600 or PL-200).
  • Must have a strong understanding of DLP, RBAC (role-based access control), and governance principles.
  • Must have experience using the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit.
  • Must have excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Must have experience working in regulated industries (e.g., financial services).
  • Must have exposure to DevOps practices, Azure Functions, or custom connectors.
  • Must have familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript).
  • Must have experience managing environments at scale across enterprise-level deployments
  • Must have the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with business users, developers, and IT teams.
  • Capacity to train users on the effective use of Power Platform tools and create documentation for system usage, best practices, and troubleshooting.
  • Must have the ability to analyze and evaluate business requirements, translating them into Power Platform solutions, as well as optimize existing solutions.
