Job Description
Bryn Mawr Trust, a WSFS Company, provides locally managed and collaborative wealth management solutions, including a broad array of planning and advisory services, investment management, trust and estate planning, brokerage and investment services to individual, corporate, and institutional clients through multiple integrated businesses.
The Financial associate is responsible for providing high level service delivery to wealth clients, advisors, internal associates and vendors. The incumbent will support a team of client facing individuals (Wealth Director, Financial Advisors, Financial Planners, Sr. Financial Associates and Para Planners) to provide exceptional client service and administrative support. This position entails internal and external client communications, preparation and participation in select client meetings, and interface with the Wealth Service Team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for high-net-worth clients, providing exceptional service and building long-term relationships for a team of advisors.
- Deliver client-facing services, including plan reviews and presentations in partnership with internal teams.
- Respond to client inquiries and support requests, including cash movements, fee reviews, and report preparation.
- Coordinate client meetings and tailor presentation materials to meet the specific needs of clients and Financial Advisors.
- Answer the main phone line and RPS main line (email box) on a recurring basis and provide mail support as needed.
- Manage multiple time-sensitive administrative tasks such as account openings/closings, money transfers, document gathering, and both paper and electronic filing.
- Prepare and distribute client correspondence including disclosures, Investment Policy Statements, and onboarding documentation.
- Track account funding to completion and verify asset information accuracy (e.g., cost basis, acquisition dates, tax lots).
- Coordinate general office management duties including ordering supplies and scanning/filing documents.
- Support the RPS team with administrative duties and high-level client service.
- Perform client service tasks specific to RPS such as paperwork execution and marketing coordination.
- Execute paperwork for RPS fund changes and ensure completion.
- Facilitate marketing efforts to help generate new RPS client opportunities.
- Act as liaison between RPS team and other departments to foster communication and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data in Salesforce (CRM), custodial systems, and portfolio management platforms.
- Become proficient in portfolio and custodial platforms (e.g., Fidelity, Schwab).
- Administer complex processes in support of client needs and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
- Assist in division-wide initiatives such as systems conversions and special projects.
- Proactively support compliance adherence and internal team preparation needs.
- Take direction from Financial Advisors, including trade review and execution.
- Stay current with industry trends and financial planning topics to support team and client success.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; a concentration in finance or a related business discipline is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with a strong preference for candidates with prior experience supporting company retirement plan services.
- Ability to obtain the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation within the first six months of employment.
- If currently licensed, must have a clean Form U-4 with no disclosures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong foundational numeracy skills.
- Experience with custodial platforms and/or investment systems is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, with strong organizational skills and adaptable interpersonal communication.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently and independently, while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Salary Range:
$52,433.00 - $86,137.25Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
