Job Description
Bryn Mawr Trust, a WSFS Company, provides locally managed and collaborative wealth management solutions, including a broad array of planning and advisory services, investment management, trust and estate planning, brokerage and investment services to individual, corporate, and institutional clients through multiple integrated businesses.
The Fiduciary Specialist is responsible for supporting the Trust Officers by providing high level service delivery to Delaware Advantage trust and agency clients, advisors, intermediaries and other qualified referral sources and distribution channels.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Trust Officers and other client focused staff members.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal clients, including but not limited to: Trust Operations Employees, Trust Officer, Investment Manager, and supporting Vendors.
- Manage multiple time sensitive tasks simultaneously for both internal and external client duties and obligations.
- Prepare for and participate in select client and departmental meetings.
- Assist in opening and closing accounts.
- Support other duties that may arise from time-to-time.
- Provide internal and external (client) communications, including participation in select client meetings.
- Have knowledge, understanding and application of fiduciary principles, securities processing and clearing, trust and accounting systems and technology to support recordkeeping and payment history.
- Interface with Trust Operations Service Partners and other internal parties.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of a two-year college degree (or equivalent) in Business, Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in trust or trust-related financial or other client focused services.
- Must possess an intellectual curiosity and passion to succeed.
- Must have analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be detail orientation and have the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
- Must have seasoned experience with trust & accounting recordkeeping systems trading systems.
- Must have technical expertise in accessing trade and confirm information from third party websites.
- Proficiency in MS Office and FIS Addvantage or similar trust accounting systems.
