WSFS Bank is currently seeking a Senior Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager. The Senior Relationship Manager (SRM) manages commercial banking relationships for Real Estate Developers and Real Estate Holding companies ranging in size from $3 million to the Bank’s legal lending limit. The incumbent has overall responsibility for retaining and expanding existing commercial relationships, as well as developing new commercial relationships. This may involve the sale and servicing of credit and non-credit products, including, but not limited to wealth offerings, residential mortgage products, corporate cash management and on-line banking services. This position serves as the "gatekeeper" for other Bank products and services. The SRM will interview customers and prospects to understand information concerning their business needs, financial condition, and performance to determine whether a loan may be an acceptable risk as defined by the Bank's credit policy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partners with credit Associates such as Portfolio Managers in the development and analysis of financial background data for new or renewed loans.
  • Makes decisions on loans and terms with line of business or credit administration personnel to approve credit under dual signature authority or makes recommendations to senior loan committee for approval.
  • Calls on businesses to develop new relationships with prospective clients, as well as retain existing business, and promote additional bank services to current clients.
  • Relies on self-generated referral sources (e.g., attorneys, CPA’s, business brokers, existing clients) to develop new opportunities, and will track existing loan portfolio to ensure complete conformity with terms and covenants.
  • Monitors and identifies developing trends or early warning signs of problem credits, performs timely risk assessment based upon this information, and updates loan systems and customer credit files with assessments.
  • Responsible for performing annual reviews of all relationships within their assigned portfolio.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in a business-related field.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending and banking.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and consumer loan and deposit products is required.
  • Commercial loan training, consisting of financial statement analysis, loan structuring and training is required.
  • Must have superior Customer Service skills.
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Salary Range:

$130,466.00 - $214,338.50

Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
