WSFS Bank is seeking a Settlement Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the settlement process for ATMs and Smart Safes. The incumbent will be the lead for all projects pertaining to the Settlement department. The Settlement Supervisor will handle all day-to-day issues as well as reporting documentation tailored to client needs. The incumbent will provide executive summary on projects, statistics and presentations for the leadership Team. The incumbent will handle settlement operations for both Smart Safes and ATMs including: closing cash orders, handling adjustments, filing of claims, processing of general ledger entries, in-depth research, and balancing of financial transactions to the database. The incumbent will have strong relationships with other departments, couriers, and clients to resolve escalations. The position requires that the incumbent independently handle weekly and monthly reporting on exception terminals and escalate issues as needed. The Settlement Supervisor must be able to perform a variety of functions on escalated ATM or Smart Safe issues to resolution being a back-up to management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as a primary contact of contact for interdepartmental issues, projects and escalations.
- Assist with the training of new associates on proper procedures, policies and methodologies.
- Revise policies and procedures and present for Management Team approval when requested
- Analyze information from various sources to systematically investigate cash order differences.
- Research and resolve at risk terminals and update all reports accordingly with required information within timeframes.
- Escalate all unresolved settlement, general ledger or communication issues with supporting documentation to Management in a timely fashion.
- Actively participate in process/system design and testing of enhancements.
- Monitor progress and completion of all tasks on project tasks list;
- Provide assistance where necessary to assure timely completion of tasks and escalate to appropriate management levels when delays occur.
- Conduct one-on-one discussions with Associates and actively participate in Meetings and performance evaluations.
- Lead Settlement Staff towards efficient services of all settlement activities.
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum 5 years’ extensive experience in Cash Logistics and Financial Services.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ATM & Smart Safe residuals processing or equivalent.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding established production and service quality goals.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
- Practical knowledge of both ATM and Smart Safe standard concepts, practices, and procedures for settlement processing, as well as a thorough knowledge of other Cash Connect functions, and the technology that supports those business lines is necessary.
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment while prioritizing various responsibilities effectively.
- Proficient in using Windows and Microsoft software products and be able to develop an understanding of in-house applications
Salary Range:
$44,146.00 - $72,525.25Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
